The Los Angeles Police Department is significantly expanding its Reserve Corps. Show up at the Reserve Orientation the first and third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. It is located at the City of Los Angeles Personnel Department Building at 700 East Temple Street Room 115A Los Angeles, CA 90012.

The Reserve Corps is comprised of community members who have different careers and volunteer their free time to fulfill many of the roles handled by full-time sworn Police Officers. Reserve Officers receive the same training as full-time Officers and work alongside them in many aspects of Department operations.
